I know this is a niche festival located in one city, but even if you don't live in Atlanta, it's a reminder that if you have a free evening or weekend afternoon you should maybe wander into a theater, pay ten bucks, and take a chance on a true independent film. Out on Film is a festival highlighting movies from and about homosexual, bi-sexual, and transgender people and issues.
I know it sounds cliche, but it does make you a better person to expand your horizons and that's why I'm happy to report on the announcement of this year's line-up for the Atlanta Out on Film Festival.
